Apple Device eSIM Compatibility (Important Restrictions)

Most iPhones and iPads support eSIM, but there are regional exceptions:

Mainland China: iPhones purchased in Mainland China do not have eSIM capability.

Hong Kong and Macao: Only the following models support eSIM:

• iPhone 13 Mini
• iPhone 12 Mini
• iPhone SE (2020)
• iPhone XS

Turkey: iPhones and iPads purchased in Turkey before June 23, 2020, require a special activation procedure here. Please note that this process may require erasing your device’s data.
